Metroid is one of my absolute favorite series of games with the Prime series being the most influential to me as a child. Going through them again inspired me to create a creature i could see being in one of the games. I mainly used the Sheegoth as reference for their body structure. I spent around four days from start to finish. Final polycount is 6,648 with two 1024x1024 maps, normal and diffuse. Sculpted and painted in Zbrush, retopologized in Maya, baked in Xnormal, some texture tweaks in Photoshop, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2.
